Emotions Day

Emotions Workshop
"Know Your Feelings, Know Yourself"

Our mission is to empower young women through access to mental health resources, mentorship, and leadership training. We aim to challenge gender stereotypes, particularly those surrounding soccer and sports participation, and encourage girls to find confidence in their abilities—on and off the field. Through community outreach, seminars, and awareness campaigns, ShePlaysToo strives to create a culture of inclusivity, equality, and empowerment, where every young woman has the chance to grow, lead, and thrive.

This project is one of ShePlaysToo’s cornerstone initiatives, combining the principles of mental wellbeing, education, and sports empowerment.

The focus lies in partnering with local orphanages and psychologists to reach underprivileged young women who may not otherwise have access to emotional support or leadership guidance. Through this collaboration, the project seeks to help participants build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Each activity—whether a seminar, a sports day, or a mentoring session—is carefully designed to nurture both mind and body. Participants engage in open discussions about self-esteem and mental health, take part in team-building exercises through sports, and receive guidance from mentors who help them see their own potential.

Why It Matters

Many young women in rural or underprivileged areas grow up without the support systems that nurture self-esteem and ambition. By offering mental health guidance, sports engagement, and leadership opportunities, ShePlaysToo gives them the tools to rewrite their narratives—to see themselves not as limited by circumstance, but as capable, strong, and full of potential.

This program is a step toward building an Indonesia—and a world—where every girl has the freedom to dream, play, and lead.
